Which metal should i use in a lift experiment?

i am trying to find a material to use in a experiment using a spinning top (similar to a Beyblade) and i want to see how much "lift" can be generated but i want it to be fairly durable and strong. I have been looking at titanium, aluminum, a layered mix of aluminum and titanium, fibrecore, iconel alloy, and some higher grade stainless steel. Any ideas?
