Can frozen kidney beans that you buy in the store make you sick, if you eat them just thawed?

I was wondering if eating store bought frozen kidney beans are are ok to eat just thawed? I just read that dried kidney beans, if not cooked properly can make you sick, but I thought the frozen in a bag store bought, was cooked already before frozen..I have ate them raw and never got sick...
