How do I get over my first real crush?(Girls only)?

Ok so I had a crush on this guy in my homeroom and today in the clroom and he was talking about the high school I was going to and so I just mentioned that I was going to my high school. So then he was aggravated that I was going there. But this is weird because for the past week he has been acting like my friend and being nice to me. And so just yesterday he has been hanging around this one girl that belongs in a group of control freaks. So during P.E. today he was poking her and I've been getting jealous because she is nice. He also has been paying attention to this other control freak that is nice. And so I was heartbroken because this guy I didn't like for his looks I liked him for who he was. And I have been comparing myself to this girl. I'm pounding with anger yet upset because I'm going through another delima too. Now I'm just the girl in the hallway and he acts like nothing has happened ( I woulden't blame him). And so now I just act like Im better off without him or I ignore him. Advice please?
