Is a Intel(R) GMA X5400 video card good?

Nope, Intel graphics in general suck, basically if your computer is Intel graphics powered you can throw out playing anything halfway recent in terms of major games like Crysis, GTA IV, Left 4 Dead at all or at decent frame rates. Intel graphics are only good for people who don't game and just watch movies and surf the web and do basic computing tasks. Then an Intel graphics card is good as it doesn't consume a lot of power.
